WHO WE ARE

The Fashion Law Lab™ is Australia’s first independent education hub created for people who are curious about the intersection of fashion and law. Our students explore how fashion really works - beyond the runway, beyond the headlines, and beyond traditional classrooms.

The Lab was founded to bring together individuals who share an interest in fashion, culture, and the legal and commercial frameworks that shape the industry globally. It exists to make complex ideas accessible, to encourage informed conversation, and to create a space where learning feels relevant, current, and connected to real-world practice.

Our approach is interdisciplinary, globally informed, and grounded in how the fashion industry actually operates.

The Lab brings together a growing community of students, founders, creatives, professionals, academics, and advisors who want to deepen their understanding of the fashion industry and its evolving challenges. Through courses, events, discussions, and editorial content, we aim to build knowledge that is practical, global, and forward-looking.

Founded by an Australian fashion and intellectual property lawyer with international experience, the Fashion Law Lab™ is shaped by a belief that fashion education should be accessible, thoughtful, and deeply connected to industry practice.

Our founder has worked at the intersection of law and fashion across Australia and the United States, guest lectured at leading institutions, contributed to global fashion law education and dialogue. Her work spans brand protection, commercial strategy, and creative industries.

At its core, the Fashion Law Lab™ is about connection - connecting people, perspectives, and disciplines - and creating space for thoughtful learning in an industry that moves fast and asks big questions.

This is a place to learn, to question, and to think critically about the future of fashion.
